Connectivity & Managed Networks

Managed networks that keep your business connected.

For most teams, work starts with an internet connection. When it slows down or drops, work does too. RIKR helps you find the right connectivity and manage the network behind it, so your people can stay connected and keep moving.

What’s included

From your internet connection to your office network.

Connectivity brings service to your business. Your network carries it to the people and devices that need it. We help you plan both, with a defined monthly management package and connectivity consulting tailored to your location.

Router and firewall management

The Managed Networks plan covers one router or firewall per location. We review your existing environment and agree on the equipment and management scope before service begins.

Router · Firewall · Network Edge

Managed switches

Up to two network switches are included in each location’s plan. We help you consider how your equipment, connected devices, and business needs fit together.

Switching · Wired Networks · Connected Devices

Business Wi-Fi

The plan includes up to four wireless access points. We discuss your workspace and wireless needs so the proposed network fits the people and devices using it.

Wireless Networks · Access Points · Wi-Fi

A team to call when you need help

Remote support covers up to two network incidents per location each month. We confirm the scope with you, including any work outside that allowance, before you commit.

Remote Support · Two Incidents Monthly

More options for business connectivity

Through partnerships with over 100 service providers, we help you evaluate connectivity options and consult on getting service that fits your location, needs, and budget. Connectivity services are separate from the management plan.

Connectivity Consulting · Provider Options · Business Internet

Vendor agnostic. Your needs first.

We favor Cisco Meraki for managed networks and support Ubiquiti, Arista, Palo Alto, and many more. Our approach is vendor agnostic: recommendations start with your business, existing infrastructure, and budget.

A little clarity

Your questions,
answered.

Good decisions start with clear information.

What is included in the $150 Managed Networks plan?

Each location’s monthly plan covers one router or firewall, up to two switches, up to four wireless access points, and remote support for up to two incidents per month. Hardware and subscriptions are additional.

Is pricing per employee or per location?

Managed Networks is $150 per location/month. It is priced separately from our per-employee IT support and cybersecurity plans.

Are hardware, licenses, and internet service included?

Hardware and subscriptions are additional. The $150 monthly fee is for the defined network-management package; it does not include your internet-provider bill.

What if we have more equipment or need more than two support incidents?

Tell us about your equipment and support needs. We’ll review any additional scope with you and agree on the terms before service begins.

Do we have to use Cisco Meraki?

No. Cisco Meraki is our preferred platform, but we take a vendor-agnostic approach and also support Ubiquiti, Arista, and Palo Alto environments. We review the suitability of your existing equipment before recommending changes.

Can RIKR help us find a connectivity provider?

Yes. We aid and consult in sourcing connectivity through partnerships with over 100 service providers. We help you evaluate the options for your location and business needs. Provider services and subscriptions are separate from Managed Networks.

Does this replace Managed IT Support or Managed Cybersecurity?

No. Managed Networks focuses on your network equipment and its defined support allowance. Managed IT Support and Managed Cybersecurity are separate offerings; we can discuss how they fit together for your business.
