What does a managed security service provider do?
A managed security service provider (MSSP) helps businesses manage security tools and practices on an ongoing basis. RIKR’s Managed Cybersecurity plan covers password management, endpoint detection and response, email and identity protection, awareness training, policy guidance, and incident triage and response coordination.
Is managed cybersecurity the same as antivirus?
No. Antivirus is one layer of device protection. Managed cybersecurity also addresses accounts, email, employee awareness, security policies, and how your business responds to suspicious activity or an incident.
Does the plan include employee security training?
Yes. Huntress security awareness training includes simulated phishing and engaging content to help your people recognize common threats and respond thoughtfully to suspicious messages and requests.
Can cybersecurity services guarantee we will never have an incident?
No provider can guarantee that. Layered security helps manage risk, while clear ownership and response coordination help your business act when a potential incident occurs.
Does this include all incident remediation work?
RIKR takes charge of incident triage and response coordination. Extensive security-incident remediation and projects are quoted separately. We’ll discuss the scope of additional work rather than treating every incident as the same.
